Whether you’re shopping for an Expedition XLT or Limited, each has features across the board that stand out, making the SUV a good choice for in-town or out-of-town driving.

2019 Ford Expedition XLT

Exterior Appearance

The 8-seater XLT has a stylish exterior with standard enhancing features such as roof-rack side rails, running boards, chrome grille, black power adjustable heated mirrors, solar-tinted windshield, and Halogen projector-beam reflector headlamps.

Power and Performance

Power is handled by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine accompanied by a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Performance in handling and maneuverability is supported by an Anti-Lock Braking system and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. The XLT is also aided by traction control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Multi-link independent rear suspension, and rack-and-pinion steering.

Interior

Comfort is part of the charm of the 2019 XLT. The SUV is fitted with front bucket seats with cloth upholstery. The driver’s seat is power adjustable with power lumbar support and manual recline. The second row is a split bench, 40/20/40 manual reclining seat, that folds flat and features CenterSlide. The third-row is a 60/40 split bench seat that folds flat to the floor.

Technology

Anytime you’re out and about for business or leisure driving, technology keeps you connected and entertained. The XLT has standard features that include SiriusXM radio, AM/FM stereo, CD player, nine speakers, an MP3 player, multimedia smart-charging USB ports, and enhanced voice recognition communications and entertainment system.

Safety Features

Several standard safety features support passenger safety. These include third-row safety canopy, three-point safety belts, side-impact air bags, dual-stage front air bags, and LATCH system.

2019 Ford Expedition Limited

Exterior Appearance

Like the XLT, the Limited is equipped with a long list of standard exterior features that add to the luxury look and style of the SUV. Several driver assisted features include a windshield wiper de-icer, rear window defroster and washer for clearer visibility, hands-free foot-activated liftgate, daytime running lights, and Halogen fog lamps. Optional features include a panoramic vista roof, roof rail cross bars, rain-sensing front wipers, and front tow hooks (included on the four-wheel drive).

Power and Performance

The 2019 Limited is also equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine with Auto Stop-Start technology, and a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. The SUV is fitted with a battery saver and a 23.3-gallon fuel tank. Optional equipment includes a heavy-duty engine radiator, and a two-speed automatic four-wheel drive with neutral towing capability.

Interior 

Standard seating includes heated and ventilated front leather-trimmed bucket seats, second-row tip and slide seats, second-row heated seats, and third-row power-folding headrests.

Technology

Technology steps it up a notch with the FordPass Connect, B&O Sound System, SYNC, and the wireless charging in Media Hub. A voice-activated touch screen navigation system featuring Pinch-to-Zoom capability, Travel Link, and SiriusXM Traffic are optional.

Safety Features

Ford puts safety first for its passengers. The Limited is no exception. The SUV is fitted with an SOS Post-Crash Alert System, rear-door child safety locks, individual tire pressure monitoring system, front and side air bags, third-row safety canopy, and dual-stage front air bags. Optional for the second row are inflatable safety belts.
