What the 2022 Ford Maverick Brings to the Table

As a hybrid, the all-new 2022 Maverick is going above and beyond to push the world of trucks further in fulfilling modern needs and wants. That’s why there are two engine options in the 2022 Maverick, for example. The first being a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid (FWD only), and the second being a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged “EcoBoost” four-cylinder. The first has a total of 191 horsepower, but the EcoBoost has 250 horsepower. A standard Maverick can tow up to 2,000 pounds. But if you have the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and the 4k Tow Package, that can go up to 4,000 pounds. It delivers plenty of power for those looking to haul some really big items.

Continuing on the electricity, the bed has built-in 12-volt electrical power prewired to a removable cover so you can support your projects! Additionally, you also have two available 110-volt 400-watt outlets to power your phones, laptops, small TVs, and other small appliances! There’s one in the bed and one in the cabin, so you can power up whenever you need to.

And when it comes to functionality, the all-new 2022 Maverick really comes in clutch with its unique FLEXBED™. • Lariat: Coming in hot with 18-inch aluminum wheels, premium grain Desert Brown ActiveX™ seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, you can really stand out with this trim! With features like the dual-zone electric automatic temperature controls, ambient lighting, and 6.5-inch productivity screen, riding in style has never been so easy.
• Lariat First Edition: Look sharp with a black roof, distinct hood, a gloss black mirror, and more. The base of this trim comes with 18-inch black wheels and the standard fully hybrid engine. But you can upgrade to 17-inch aggressive all-terrain tires if you so choose. This trim is available for the first model year only, so get yours fast!
