What major Ford powertrain components are covered?
Coverage includes many major engine, transmission and drivetrain components. Examples include the engine block and cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, timing components, oil pump, transmission internal components, torque converter, valve body, transfer case, differentials, axle shafts, drive shafts and other covered components.

Are Ford EcoBoost turbocharger components covered?
Covered engine components include the turbocharger housing and internal parts. This can provide valuable powertrain protection for qualifying Ford vehicles equipped with turbocharged engines, including many Ford EcoBoost models.
Specific coverage is subject to the warranty terms, conditions and exclusions.
Is the transmission covered?
Yes. Covered transmission components include the transmission case and internal parts, planetary gear set, valve body, torque converter, clutch cover, transfer case and internal parts, plus covered seals and gaskets.

Are 4x4 and drivetrain components covered?
The warranty includes coverage for specified drivetrain components such as the transfer case, differential components, axle shafts, drive and propeller shafts, U-joints, constant velocity joints and covered seals and gaskets.
Coverage varies by vehicle configuration and is subject to the warranty terms, conditions and exclusions.
Which new Ford vehicles qualify for the warranty?
Qualifying new Ford vehicles purchased from Bayou Ford receive the complimentary 7-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Warranty. Commercial-use vehicles are excluded.
How long does the powertrain warranty last?
The warranty is valid for seven years from the date of vehicle purchase and up to 100,000 miles.
How much does the warranty cost?
There is no additional cost to you. Bayou Ford pays the cost of the Powertrain Warranty for qualifying new Ford vehicles.
Is extra maintenance required to keep the warranty?
No additional maintenance is required beyond following the manufacturer's required maintenance schedule as described in your vehicle owner's manual. You should retain your maintenance records.
Do I have to service my Ford at Bayou Ford?
No. You are not required to have all service performed at Bayou Ford. You must follow the manufacturer's required maintenance schedule and retain your maintenance records. If you service your vehicle at Bayou Ford, we'll maintain those service records for you.
Where can I use the warranty?
The 7-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Warranty is valid anywhere in the United States or Canada. The servicing technician must be ASE Certified.
What is the warranty deductible?
The deductible is $250 per warranty claim.
